Join us for a three-part series of immersive and interactive discussions for Seaweek 2026.
These discussions are designed to inspire, inform and connect us to our big blue backyard.

Ocean Science in Action - Tuesday 3 March, 6.30-8pm

Join Olivia Cooper, Lauren Murphy and Maeva Gerbeaux for a fast-paced evening, full of energy. See the next generation of ocean leaders pitch their visions in a series of rapid-fire presentations.

Telling Ocean Stories - Wednesday 4 March, 6.30-8pm

Join Natalie Robinson, Mia Wege, and Matty Jordan with facilitator James Nikitine for a thoughtful exploration of ocean advocacy across Aotearoa and the Pacific, tracing our journey from ancestral wisdom to modern-day activism.

Protection, Policy and Practice - Friday 6 March, 6.30-8pm

What does the future hold for our blue planet? Gain high-level insights from leading experts in marine science and policy as they chart the course for the next decade of ocean conservation. Hear from Craig Pauling, James Nikitine, and Steve Urlich with facilitator Jocelyn Papprill.
