Event description
The SECCA App is an innovative web-based resource that is used across a variety of sectors including education, health care, social skills development, and justice. It provides teachers, education assistants, counsellors and other health professionals working in the space of disability with a resource to assess and develop an individual’s understanding of relationships and sexuality concepts across the lifespan.
This workshop provides a guided walkthrough on how to use the SECCA App, whilst highlighting all of the available features and supports to ensure your enhanced understanding and use of the App. It will also include insight into the new upgrades and features available with the upcoming App redevelopment, due for release in late July 2023.
We will further offer examples of how to use the App for teaching different topics, and will provide the opportunity for questions to be asked before the workshop in order to tailor accordingly.
This is a free, online 2 hour workshop.
