SECNA warmly invites members, partners, supporters and anyone interested in social enterprise to join us for our third Quarterly Meetup for 2024 themed: How to leave your social enterprise (intact)

For in-person attendees - What to expect:

The event will commence at 6pm

Guests will have an opportunity to informally mingle and hear from SECNA before the guest panel for the evening commences at 6:30pm concluding at 7:15pm.

Following the panel, guests are welcome to network until the event close at 8pm.

For virtual attendees - What to expect:

The Zoom meeting will start at 6:30pm and conclude at 7:15pm so virtual attendees can participate in the panel. Please use the hand function or meeting chat to raise your questions for the panel during Q&A from 7-7:15pm.

If you dial in before 6:30pm, you will be automatically placed in the meeting waiting room and a SECNA staff member will let you in before the panel starts.

About the panel:

The panel comprises of social enterprise leaders who will share their stories managing the highs, lows and everything in between that comes with the biggest (and sometimes unexpected) changes.

Our guest speakers for the evening are:

Camilla Schippa - Ambassador and former CEO of The Social Outfit

Chris Christodoulou - Greenacres Disability Services

Brianna Kerr - Founder, Five Bucks. Former Co-Founder KUA Coffee

The panel will be moderated by Kylie Flament, CEO SECNA

The panel will explore:

Calling it a day on your social enterprise… or on your role in it
How to prepare to exit your social enterprise
The other side of the coin: being in the thick of change rather than the reason for it, and what’s helpful to keep and mind and do in this period of transition
What it’s like journeying into the unknown

Catering:

Guests are kindly advised that light refreshments and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. This spread will include a grazing board with an assortment of cheeses, cold cuts, vegetable sticks, fresh bread, and dips, varying ingredients depending on the season.

The venue has transitioned to a dry space, meaning we alcohol will not be served or allowed on-site to comply with Canva’s licensing requirements.
