Second Mountain Collective

In his book The Second Mountain, author David Brooks says  “The first mountain is about building up the ego and defining the self; the second mountain is about shedding the ego and losing the self.” He champions radical relationism, where life/work is dedicated to relational connection in the pursuit of collective goals, commitment AND contentment. 

Second Mountain Collective is an ad hoc gathering of people who we curated because we you see climbing your second mountain. We wanted this evening to allow climbers to rope together for a moment, for connections to be made or re-forged, for good humans to be in a room of other good humans, with a cheeky bev and a snack, and remember we are all in this together. Our only agenda is connection. 

Tix are $30 + booking fee to cover the welcome drink and food and support the lovely peeps of La Sardina Loca to stay local and stay caring for our Tassie hospo community. If you are invited and this cost is prohibitive email us with what you can offer and we will make it happen. That's what the Second Mountain is all about!
