Event description

Overview: Majors Workshop & Cross-Institutional Information and Processes

In the Secondary Teaching programs, the terms ‘major’ and ‘teaching area’ are often used interchangeably. When we refer to your majors within your UC course, we mean the subject areas you intend to teach once you graduate.

Your undergraduate degree must include:

·         A first major (your primary teaching area) in a recognised secondary subject, and

·         A second major (your secondary teaching area) in another approved secondary subject.

It’s essential that your undergraduate unit content aligns with your chosen teaching areas and the curriculum studies you’ll undertake.

We strongly encourage you to attend the Majors Workshop for detailed guidance on aligning your studies with teaching requirements.

Registration is essential.
