Secret Screening with Beau Miles - Melbourne

Event description

A secret screening is your chance to see Beau’s quirky films before they’re uploaded to YouTube. The idea is that these films aren't yet the ‘final version’, but good enough to understand and tell your pen pal about.

In between, Beau will tell you a bunch of excellent stories that may or may not have anything to do with what you've just watched. He’ll be operating at 90 percent for at least 70 percent of the night, which by all accounts is what most people consider above average.

To finish the show, Beau will answer your questions during a Q&A.

About Beau: Beau Miles is annoyed that his hair is no longer orange. His ideas and antics are sometimes remarkable, often mundane, and occasionally disgusting. He loves finding things, needs to shower more and uses his ginger body in a sunsmart capacity. He can't wait to finish a dozen or so 'day-long' jobs that are currently into their 3rd and 4th years since starting and still eats lots of beans.

Overview:

  • 6:30 PM - The Astor Theatre opens: Beverages and snacks are available in the foyer.
  • 7:30 PM - Secret Screening with Beau Miles: Runtime of 125 minutes, which includes a collection of films, a 20 minute intermission and a Q+A with Beau.
  • 9:35 PM - Evening concludes
