Secrets of the Bees, the latest instalment in National Geographic’s Emmy®-winning 'Secrets of' franchise, offers a groundbreaking look at one of the planet’s most vital species. Produced by Silverback Films, the two-part series is hosted by National Geographic Explorer Bertie Gregory and features expert insights from entomologist Dr Samuel Ramsey, combining cutting-edge filming technology with world-class storytelling. Revealing bees as intelligent, socially complex creatures, the series captures astonishing, never-before-filmed behaviours and intricate hive architecture. Secrets of the Bees transforms our understanding of these remarkable insects, highlighting their critical role in sustaining ecosystems and the delicate balance of life on Earth.

The screening will be followed by a Q & A with with the producer, Nadège Laici.

  • The closest car park is Millennium Square car park, which has lifts and spaces for blue badge holders.

The nearest bus stop is Anchor Road, which is located a 0.1 mile walk from Millennium Square.

The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads, which is located 1 mile from the square.

Driving

The nearest car park is Millennium Square Car Park.

This car park also includes disabled parking next to the main vehicular/pedestrian entrance and lifts.

Please note that this event takes place within Bristol's Clean Air Zone. If you are driving to the event we advise you to check the Bristol Council website before travelling, or where possible take active travel or public transport.

Free ticket events at Wild Weekend
