SECTION 9 returns for a very special event: the INNAMIND takeover show!
INNAMIND RECORDINGS is one of the most prestigious record labels in dubstep internationally, boasting consistently high quality releases over the last 13 years. Along with their offshoot label, "BLACKLIST", INNAMIND is known for their genre-defining curations, as well as many of the iconic anthems in modern bass music.
INNAMIND has sent three of their legendary artists to Wellington for a triple headliner show: AGO, NINA and HIJINX
You can't run an INNAMIND show without proper sound; so we are pleased to announce this event will be powered by the Banshee system, courtesy of Further Sound!
With support from SECTION 9 veterans, set times are as follows:
9pm - 10pm: Sheboy b2b Likklejon
10pm - 2am: 4 hour INNAMIND takeover
2am - close: Bloq b2b Envu

 ARTIST BIOS:
AGO
Iconic solo producer and composer, and part of the legendary Numa Crew, Ago hails from Florence, Italy. With musical productions ranging from Dubstep all the way to Ambient, Ago has performed in countless international contexts, both as a soloist and as a member of the Numa Crew collective. Releasing on labels like Innamind, System Music, and Moonshine Recordings, he established himself as one of the most unique voices in the bass music panorama.
NINA
Hailing from Bristol, Nina is the solo project of Jevon Ives; one-half of the notorious production duo known as DE-TÜ. Drawing inspiration from all corners of the sound system music continuum, Nina's productions hit heavy in the dance and have become a staple in many a DJ’s record bags, the world over. With releases on Innamind, Infernal Sounds, and White Peach, Jevon Ives has established himself as one of the stalwarts of dubstep internationally.
HIJINX
Formerly known as "Mr K", Bristol-based producer Kyle Smith embarks on a fresh chapter in his musical journey under the new alias, "Hijinx". With roots dating back to 2015, Smith first made waves in dubstep with his former alias, establishing himself as a formidable presence with releases on esteemed labels such as Wheel & Deal Records, White Peach, and Navy Cut, as well as performances at renowned festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, and Outlook. Known for relentless innovation and a steadfast commitment to artistic integrity, he continues to captivate audiences and push the boundaries of dubstep; solidifying his position as a visionary force in the electronic music landscape.
