Poranguí: Music Is Medicine-The Sedona Immersion

Join Poranguí for a weekend of Music is Medicine: The Sedona Immersion - February 9th & 10th. Poranguí will be live in concert with Ashley Klein on Friday evening followed by a Music is Medicine workshop Saturday afternoon, and a Sound Healing Journey Saturday evening. Tickets are available for single events as well as for the full weekend experience. All events are likely to sell out, so get your tickets in advance as they may not be available at the door.

Poranguí Live in Concert

Friday, 6pm Doors, 6:30-8:30pm Dance

Poranguí masterfully weaves ancestral songs & indigenous rhythms from around the world as a one-man orchestra. His infectious grooves move the body and soulful harmonies uplift the spirit, transcending cultural and stylistic boundaries to deeply heal & integrate the mind, body and soul.

We’ll drop into deep earthy grooves as Poranguí sonically guides us through waves of ecstatic movement and blissful stillness, ending in a meditative sound soak. His partner, Ashley Klein, will sprinkle the musical set with some vocal guidance, visualizations, and meditations inviting our prayers and intentions into our dance.

Music Is Medicine Workshop

Saturday, 10:45 Doors,11am-2pm

Join Poranguí as we create a circle of rhythm, sound, and movement! Rediscover the first and most complex instrument known to humankind: yourself. Together we will explore where voice and Spirit meet in improvisational dance. By embracing our unique voice and cultivating expression in a safe & celebratory container, we sing our souls and braid our voice together to amplify healing and beauty. No experience necessary, this is for all!

Sound Healing Journey

Saturday, 5pm Doors, 5:30-7:30pm

An intimate two-hour sound healing journey with Poranguí live. Bring a yoga mat, eye mask, blanket, and anything else you need to be comfortable laying down for this meditative sound soak.

Poranguí is a musician, healer and educator weaving ancestral songs and indigenous rhythms from around the globe, utilizing the healing properties of sound to move the body, mind and Spirit. Joined by his partner, Ashley Klein, they weave the vibrational medicines of sound, movement, and meditation.
