Seed Cleaning and Storage Workshop

Join us for a hands-on Seed Cleaning and Storage Workshop hosted by Bio·R, open to all members of the community passionate about conservation and restoration.

In this engaging three-hour session, participants will:

• Learn techniques for harvesting seeds and assessing seed maturity.
• Gain insights into documentation and record-keeping for seed collections.
• Discover the importance of producing seeds for threatened plant species and their vital role in restoration projects.
• Observe a demonstration of specialty seed cleaning equipment and methods for cleaning and storing seeds effectively.
• Explore techniques for quantifying collections and estimating seed viability.
