Seed Collection sessions:

Interested in how to collect native seed? Come join us for a guided seed collection session.

Each session will include:

Introductory briefing covering guidelines for seed collection, best practice methodologies for sustainable harvest, permit requirements and genetic and environmental considerations.
Walk through of site, collecting ripe seed where appropriate.
Information on how to handle and store seeds (including seed cleaning/processing at end of session if time allows!)

These sessions will be a great opportunity to learn and practice plant ID skills and learn about plant reproduction and seed development!

Our Seed Collection sessions will be available on:

Friday May 2 from 8 to 10 am
Friday May 30 from 8 to 11 am

The location of each seed collection session will be advised closer to the event date.
