Seed Library Packing and Twine Making Workshop

Join The Groundswell Collective for a hands-on Seed Library Workshop and Packing Session at Cardiff Library as part of the Seeds of Resilience monthly program.

This session features guest presenter Sylvia Ray, a talented fibre artist who creates beautiful baskets and woven objects from plants found in local gardens and landscapes.

Sylvia will demonstrate how everyday plants can be transformed into useful and beautiful woven pieces before guiding participants through making natural twine from a banana trunk. This versatile twine can be used in the garden to support plants, for creative projects, or to wrap a special gift.

Alongside the workshop, participants will help pack and label seeds for the Lake Mac Seed Library, supporting biodiversity, local food resilience and community seed sharing.
