Event description

Growing your own plants from seeds is fun and rewarding. This workshop, taught by Extension Horticulture Educator Lisa Johnson, includes a PowerPoint presentation on starting seeds both indoors and direct-seeding outdoors and a hands-on seed planting session in the Dane County Extension Teaching Garden Greenhouse. There, you can practice what you've learned and plant up to one flat of your own vegetable and flower seeds to take home. You will also receive a printout and an electronic file of the presentation and handouts—plus some free seed packets.
