Join us for an afternoon celebrating our local food and seeds! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this event is for you. 

Seed Swapping and Sharing:
Bring your saved vegetable seeds or any excess purchased seeds to exchange and share with fellow gardeners. It’s a fantastic opportunity to diversify your garden!
Learn About Seed Saving and Storing:
Discover the secrets of successful seed preservation.
Swap Gardening Tips and Knowledge:
Share your green-thumb wisdom and pick up new tricks.
Meet Like-Minded Plant Enthusiasts:
Connect with fellow gardeners who share your passion. 

Event Outline:
Gathering and Whakawhanaungatanga: Get to know each other and introduce your seeds.
Seed Swapping and Sharing: Let the seed exchange begin!
Afternoon Tea: Enjoy a cozy afternoon tea with a facilitated on seed saving and storage. Come ready to share and learn. 

What to Bring:
Your seeds (make sure they’ll grow true to type; if unsure, check with Tania)
Packaged seeds with plant names, collection details, and your name (preferably in small envelopes)
Containers to take away seeds and a pen for labeling and notes
If you can, something tasty to share for afternoon tea.
Not saving seeds yet but want to start? Come and join in and share your enthusiasm. There will be seeds for everyone. 

Cost: A cash donation to purchase extra seeds for the Seed Aroha Stand.
