Seeds of Change in The Gums, Tranmere is an opportunity for participants to get close up and personal with birds, animals, critters, fungi and plants in The Gums Reserve in Tranmere. This is a family friendly event!
The Gums Landcare Group is a volunteer Landcare group that has been operating for 10 years in The Gums Reserve in Tranmere. Our group holds regular working bees, plants understory to increase biodiversity, engages with the community through environmental workshops and local council and government to improve environmental outcomes in the Gums Reserve. We advocate for all things water, land, native plants, fungi, birds, animals, bees and other macroinvertebrates!

5-6.30 pm Join us for a self-guided day-time exploration trail looking for birds, fungi, plants and other critters. Your enthusiastic Gums Landcare volunteers will be on hand to assist. 6.30- 7 pm Free sausage sizzle! 7-8 pm Night-time exploration trail- Night-time critters in The Gums led by our highly knowledgeable Biodiversity patron Beth!
