SEEN: The Film – Bunbury Screening (Afternoon)
Description
Join us for a special in‑person screening of Seen: The Film — an uplifting and deeply relatable documentary about how our childhood experiences shape the way we parent today.
Follow real parents as they share honest stories about their own upbringing, while leading experts Maggie Dent, Dr Billy Garvey, Dr Vanessa LaPointe and Lael Stone unpack the science of connection, healing and raising emotionally healthy kids. It’s insightful, hopeful and full of those “oh wow, that makes sense” moments.
This intimate event is limited to 25 attendees, creating space for reflection, conversation and connection with others in our community.
Counsellors from South West Women’s Health & Information Centre will be onsite throughout the screening. Their presence is simply to offer gentle, immediate support if the film brings up big feelings — a positive way to ensure everyone feels safe, cared for and able to enjoy the experience.
A nibbles plate and non-alcoholic beverage will be provided. Please note that creche is not available for this event.
This free event is proudly supported by South West Women’s Health and Information Centre, Investing In Our Youth and Parenting Connection WA.
