Seggs on Toast brings together the latest tools and resources for supporting young people's sexual health in a fun, practical workshop format. KAREN MOLHUYSEN from Sexual Health Quarters presents Boodoos, Minnies and Tuppies, resources designed for young people, by young people, to enable them to access respectful relationships and sexual and reproductive knowledge in a positive, non-confrontational way, address low literacy and English as a second language, and reflect the real-life diversity of people bodies. Karen will touch on the extensive process of consultation and collaboration with young people and others to design, produce and test these anatomically complete drawings, realistically presenting bodies and including people of colour, for use in community education.

ROISIN GLASGOW-COLLINS presents examples of interactive activities which can be used to teach about STIs in a fun, and interactive way, then takes participants through an activity to get you moving as you learn to create comfortable, helpful sexual health conversations with young people.

Responding to an escalating outbreak of syphilis officially declared across Western Australia, LORNA GERAGHTY presents practical tools and resources for use in communities to address the outbreak and increase participant capacity to have 1:1 and group discussions with young people. She’ll provide an overview of the Youth Educating Peers (YEP) Project, encouraging participants to reach out to access YEPs’ popular sexual health and blood born virus resources for young people and access workshops, professional development and consulting services.
