National Regional and Economic Development Summit 2023

2023 sees the annual SEGRA conference transition to a new format, a National Summit that will engage and encourage more participation from attendees. This is your year to get involved and voice your ideas.

Toowoomba is an ideal location for our new format. A regional city of more than 166,000 people coupled with a diverse economy. The Summit will be held at the majestic yet modern Empire Theatres, the largest performing arts precinct in regional Australia.

Prior to the Summit all attendees will complete a survey which will help inform and direct the Summit topics.

Day One we will follow the format of Think.Discuss.Act. Attendees will hear keynote presentations, ask questions of curated panels and then spend a majority of the day working with their colleagues on priorities and solutions for rural, remote and regional Australia.

Day Two will return to our traditional format where the ‘doers’ of our country will share their insights, learnings and case studies aligned to regional economic development principles.

And we will have plenty of networking time as well as a Summit evening function with a twist!
