Join Artists Catherine Henley and Martina Latimer as they present to you Selbstsein

Selbstsein (literally translated as self-being) brings together material and perceptual negotiations of beauty through presence and environment.

Catherine Henley reframes the layered beauty of Australia’s ancient ecologies alongside cleared agricultural terrains, where remnants of old-growth forests, salt plains, and coastlines sit in tension with human impact.

Martina Latimer approaches beauty as a painterly condition rather than a moral claim. Through blur as both technique and metaphor, forms drift between emergence and dissolution, allowing images to exist as autonomous entities.
