Selective Empathy - The West Through The Gaza Of Gaza

Book Launch and Conversation with Professor Roberto De Vogli

Three years on the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the world has not given the appropriate response to such an inhumane atrocity. The change in public opinion is surely happening around us, but ever so slow to make a material impact to end the Genocide and achieve the long due accountability and justice that the Palestinians deserve.

How dangerous can "Selective Empathy” be towards the Israeli Genocide in Gaza, and towards the question of Palestine?
Why have Western nations supported Israel’s Genocide so blindly? Why risk facing trial at a Nuremberg-style tribunal?!
How could Israeli society adopt such an inhumane attitude towards the Palestinians?
Could such a society, that has been so overtly - and so proudly - unified in support of their regime's genocidal campaigns in Gaza and Southern Lebanon, be one day rehabilitated?
What is the antidote to selective empathy? How do we decolonize our emotions and jolt the silent majority into action?

To answer all these questions and more, please join us in this important online conversation with Professor Roberto De Vogli.
