This weekly mindfulness event is open to anyone, whether you're a seasoned Yogi or totally new to new to meditation and mindfulness practice.
Meditating in a group setting can be extremely powerful and engaging, also giving you an opportunity to share your experiences and insights with others. I'm hoping to create a safe space where each of us can work towards embracing honesty and vulnerability to bring us closer to realising our shared human experience.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each session will involve a slightly different theme/focus and type of practice, however there is plenty of repetition and all practice builds on the same goals/skills of building more self awareness, self- kindness and consciously creating the life we want.
The session will last 75 mins and involve a guided meditation practice, journal questions and occasional group discussion (any sharing is voluntary!).
Examples of themes of practice; acceptance/surrender, elevated emotions, loving kindness, present moment awareness
Examples of types of practices; breath awareness, body scan and visualisation practices.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Journal and pen
- Cushion and blanket (if you get chilly)
