Event description

How do I heal the inner child and love my self?

Most of our core beliefs, fears and behaviors all start from our childhood. Before you can start down the path towards restoration, you must first acknowledge that your inner child exists.

So, what is the Inner Child? Your Inner Child is the right brain and is a part of your subconscious that has been picking up messages way before it was able to process what was going on. It holds emotions, memories, and beliefs from the past as well as hopes and dreams for the future. The term "inner child" is often used to describe the connection you have within yourself, to your child self and your childhood memories. At times, you might find that certain behaviors or emotions mimic those you experienced as a child, causing you distress as you try to navigate an adult world.

The Inner Adult is the left-brain, logical, analytical, conscious mind. Whereas the inner child is the part of us that is feeling and being, the inner adult is the part of us that is thought and action. Just as it is in a family, it is the adult’s job to take action on behalf of our Inner Child.

In this circle we will look at the relationship we hold with our inner child and how we can begin to heal the inner child by creating a new relationship with the parts of ourselves that get triggered, that feel fear and vulnerable.

What you can expect:

- Opening share - What is the inner child? - What relationship do we hold with the inner child?- Exercise writing a letter to your inner child - Meditation connecting to your inner child and higher self- Closing circle

What to bring:

- Journal and pen- Water bottle- A picture of you as a child that makes you happy
