Self-Publishing: From Manuscript to Publication with Kylie Chan
Event description
Step by step, understand what it takes to produce a book you can be proud of.
Traditional publishing isn’t the only way to produce and distribute your work. In this introductory course, Kylie will guide you through the basics of self-publishing. She will outline the differences between print and digital self-publishing, and explain channels, discounts, and regional restrictions. There are a number of vitally important steps to work through before you can see your work in print, and Kylie will help you to understand what it takes to produce a book you can be proud of.
Note that you are invited to bring along a digital copy of your manuscript (in word format) to digitally publish you book right there on the day. This is not compulsory, if you do not wish to publish your book on the day.
