ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ridhwan Saldin

After having worked 18 years in a profession that he loved, Ridhwan (Abu Zahir) quit advertising, the fine art of persuading people’s desires.He had worked at J. Walter Thompson, the oldest Ad company in the world with 140 offices worldwide as an art director and creative director. His career spanned many countries like Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia working in the same company. With the blessings of Allah , he now uses his talent to write and illustrate Islamic books for children.
He went on to publish his first seven books working with Darussalam Publishers in Riyadh. Since then, he started his own publishing company Al Qasim Publishing in Australia and completed a series on The Stories of the Prophets. He has completed work on The Four Greatest Caliphs of Islam. His latest book is “Alhamdulillah! For my hand and five fingers.” the first in a series of three books.
Abu Zahir is the father of two. When he is not writing or illustrating books he is busy managing an Islamic Wellness shop at the Preston Mosque in Melbourne. Helping those who are seeking spiritual cures to increase Emaan and physical cures for their everyday ailments.
