Join The Others Club and artist Codee Mac for an evening of art, wine and good company.

We’re celebrating the launch of Selfish, a series of paintings about childfree life. T.O.C founder Danni Duncan and Codee came up with the concept together, and Codee has brought it to life in his own funny, honest way.

Picture a Sunday evening at Ruma Studio in Brunswick, a glass of wine in hand, surrounded by art about lives like ours and a room of people you’ll actually want to talk to.

Whether you’re childfree, part of the queer community, or have ever been called selfish for living life your way, this night is for you. Come solo or bring a friend. You’ll meet people who get it.

About Codee Mac
Codee Mac is a queer artist who grew up in a small farming town in New Zealand, and a finalist in the fortyfivedownstairs Emerging Artist Award. Through exaggeration, distortion and the occasional complete fabrication, his paintings explore how deeply personal experiences can turn out to be surprisingly universal. There’s humour in that recognition, the kind where you laugh because it’s ridiculous, but also because it stings a little. See more of his work at @codeemac

The Others Club is a community for childfree adults. Through meetups, dinners and events across New Zealand and Australia, we make it easy to meet people who get it and build friendships that fit the life you’ve chosen.

Dietary Requirements
The grazing table will include vegetarian and dairy-free options. Let us know any other dietary requirements when you book and we’ll do our best to cater for you. We will also have non-alcoholic options available.

Refunds
Full refunds are available until 7 days before the event (Sunday 22 November). After that, tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend. Just update the name on your ticket.
