SEMAPHORE! STOP THE CHOP ROAD SHOW

The campaign to protect the Adelaide Park Lands is heading to the suburbs, with next Stop the Chop event being held in Semaphore on Saturday, 21st November - zoning in on State Government back-benchers.

Guest speakers will include Dr Kate Wylie from Doctors for the Environment, APLA President Mat Monti and a local surprise!

Live entertainment will start at 12:30pm, with the rally starting at 1:00pm The exact location will be revealed soon!

After the success of the Norwood, Unley, Prospect and Glenelg Roadshows we are inviting local Labor members to give us their vision for your Park Lands, including Cheyne Rich MP (Member for Port Adelaide), David Wilkins MP (Member for Lee) and Joe Szakacs MP (Member for Cheltenham).

Please REGISTER so we can let you know the exact location of the rally and if plans change.

The event will be followed by letters, petitions and lots of polite but firm face to face visits to ensure your local MPs understand that we want their help to Stop the Chop.

It is essential that there is ongoing pressure on local members after these events so please email David at exec@adelaide-parklands.asn.au if you can participate in a Park Lands Advocacy Circle in your electorate.
