Set It Off (1996, F. Gary Gray)

"So, what's the procedure when you have a gun to your head?”

Jada Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Vivica A. Fox and Kimberly Elise absolutely burn it up in this heist classic from the director of Friday and Straight Outta Compton. Four women make a plan to achieve a better life for themselves and their families, taking the only route that seems available to them. Amidst the chaos and tension, their bond and drive to escape the forces working against them keeps the women together, but each robbery brings them closer to losing it all.

Audience Note: this film contains depictions of violence
