Seniors Festival 2026: Protecting Babies, Grandchildren and You
Description
Protecting Babies, Grandchildren and You explores the important role vaccinations play in keeping you and the people you love healthy. If you spend time with babies, young children or teenagers, staying up to date with recommended vaccinations can help protect those who are too young or too vulnerable to fight serious illnesses. This informative session will explain which vaccines are recommended for older adults, why they matter, and when to have them. You'll also learn where to access vaccinations, what is available through the National Immunisation Program, and have the opportunity to ask questions in a friendly, supportive environment.
Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair and low-mobility accessible. Participants with additional accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact Castlemaine Community House before attending the session.
Low involves minimal walking to and within the activity and mostly flat ground. There is always an alternate option to sit somewhere.
Stairs: The activity includes a venue that may have steps to access some parts.
