Join us this October for a social day out with BeActive Brimbank, proudly presented as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival!

We’re celebrating Active Ageing by bringing the community together for a special Come & Try Day a fun-filled event designed to connect older adults through movement and shared experiences.

This is your chance to explore a variety of activities that are easy on the body but great for your mind, mood, and overall wellbeing. Whether you're looking to re-engage with sport, meet new people, or simply try something different in a friendly and supportive space, this day is for you.

The event is completely free, open to all fitness levels, and no prior experience is necessary. Take part at your own pace in a relaxed, welcoming environment that celebrates inclusiveness, wellness, and staying active.

What’s on Offer?

Discover and sample a range of low-impact, inclusive sports designed to help you stay active, healthy, and socially connected:
- Pickleball –
- Walking Football 4 Health (Soccer)
- Walking Basketball
- Table Tennis
- Badminton
- Carpet Bowls
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing and supportive shoes
- A water bottle to stay hydrated
- A friend – or come solo and meet someone new!
- All equipment is provided – just bring yourself!
What to Expect During the Sessions:
Each session runs for 90 minutes and includes:
- The chance to try each sport at your own pace – no pressure or competition
- Friendly guidance from instructors and volunteers to help you feel confident
- A supportive, inclusive space for all participants.
Whether you’re trying a sport for the first time or revisiting an old favourite, this day is all about fun, movement, and connection.
