Seniors Lifesaving Skills Refresher delivered by Royal Life Saving Society Australia
Event description
It is with great pleasure that Royal Life Saving NSW, in partnership with Inner West Council, invites you to participate in our free Seniors Lifesaving Skills Refresher.
Our Seniors Lifesaving Refresher workshops engage people aged 60+ years of age, providing seniors with the opportunity to learn or refresh their lifesaving skills and be confident in responding to an emergency through providing CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This program is designed to empower older people to know that they can save a life, no matter their age.
Participants will gain knowledge and experience of CPR and the use of an AED by taking part in an interactive program detailing DRSABCD and how to communicate with ‘000’ when an emergency occurs.
Sessions are available at the following dates and times:
- Tuesday 10 December, 11am-12.30pm
- Wednesday 11 December, 10am-11.30am
- Thursday 12 December, 11am-12.30pm
This skills refresher session will run for one hour, followed by tea, coffee, and light refreshments.
Call us on 9392 5400 or email lpac.enquiries@innerwest.nsw.gov.au if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note:Â This is an information session and will not result in an accredited CPR certificate. Please speak to the instructor for more information regarding certified First Aid and CPR courses available through Royal Life Saving Society.
