Join us for the Senior's Wisdom Morning Tea!

This event will focus on respecting our older community members while also highlighting the importance of prevention and assistance in combating all forms of elder abuse.

We welcome Seniors, service providers and carers, and family members to the event! Through informative discussions and networking morning tea, we will exchange experiences to support our elders and ensure their wisdom and life experiences are equally valued in our community!


The Definition of Elder Abuse
Elder abuse involves intentional or negligent harm to older individuals by caregivers or trusted individuals. This can include physical, emotional, sexual, or financial abuse, as well as neglect or abandonment. It occurs in various settings and is a widespread issue that often goes unreported. Awareness and support for vulnerable older adults are crucial in addressing this serious problem.
