Join us for Sensing the Smart City these summer school holidays!
Sensing the Smart City is two days of FREE hands-on and interactive science activities for kids aged 5-12 years, all centred around how we can use digital technology, data and information to help create better places for everyone!
Delivered by local STEM educators SciencePlay Kids in collaboration with Melbourne's biggest family site TOT: HOT OR NOT, Sensing the Smart City is an opportunity for children to learn, create and play at the same time.

Duration: 40 minutes
Sessions are designed for 5-12 yos. All sessions offer the same activities.
Terms:
- Each child who is participating must have a ticket. There are a maximum of 30 children per session.
- Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult, with a maximum of 3 children per adult. The adult must stay for the whole duration.
Accessibility info:
- Footscray Connectivity Centre is a step free and wheelchair accessible venue and the main entrance is at street level.
- Accessible bathroom is at street level, adjacent to the main space.
- There is space to park prams.
- Tables in workshops are approximately 55 cm high and can be swapped/adapted if need be.
