Children's Autism Foundation (new proudly integrated with Autism New Zealand) presents "Understanding Sensory in Children on the Autism Spectrum", a workshop for parents/caregivers, support workers, teachers, teacher aides and any professionals who engage with children and young people on the autism spectrum.

This live online workshop will answer your questions and provide you with knowledge & strategies to support children through the many different sensory sensitivities they may encounter.

What are sensory sensitivities?
What sensory issues may a child on the autism apectrum face?
What are our 3 "extra" senses?
Practical tools & strategies for helping children to manage sensory sensitivities.

Plus plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session.
