Sensory Play with SeiserSensory

Event description

Sensory Play by SensorySeiser at Rockledge Gardens

Join us for a special event series for our littlest bugs! In addition to Toddler Tuesday, Rockledge Gardens is excited to present Sensory Play classes in partnership with SeiserSensory (link to Facebook page for most recently updated events)!

On the third Thursday of every month, we’ll meet in the Riley Room at 9:30 am to gather for a nature-based story time paired with a themed sensory playtime for toddlers and babies, ages 12 months up to 4 years old. After the class is over, feel free to play on our Little Bugs Playground and pick up a treat from Garden Party or Mad Utter Ice Cream in our Market!

Space is limited; tickets are required for each participating child. Parents/guardians are required to remain with the child throughout the event. Each ticket includes admission, 1 story time read aloud, access to 30 minutes of open sensory playtime, and a pack of seeds.

Meet Molly, founder of SeiserSensory!
Molly is the creative force behind the engaging sensory bins and toys featured in our Sensory Play classes at Rockledge Gardens. With a background in special education & early childhood development and as a devoted mom of two, Molly founded SeiserSensory to address the gap in sensory play opportunities outside of therapeutic and school settings in Brevard County. Molly actively participates in local events throughout Brevard, advocating for the benefits of sensory play for babies and toddlers. We're very excited to have her share her passion and expertise with us!

What is sensory play?

Sensory play is one of the best tools we have in children's development. It's the start of children engaging with their senses and exploring the world around them. Learning through sensory play is fully inclusive and provides endless opportunities for the development of fine motor skills, cognitive growth, and communication!
