Sensual Embodied Dance® is about cultivating an intimate relationship with your body and the aliveness that is continually flowing through it.

During this in-person experience, we'll be using embodied dance and movement practices that are designed specifically to unwind tension patterns in the body, generate flow, and awaken pleasure, to create the fertile conditions for a profound connection to yourself and your body to naturally arise.

WHAT'S IN THE SESSION:

1 - FLUID WARM UP to calm the mind and become attentive to your body’s sensations and present moment experience.

2 - GUIDED SENSUAL MOVEMENT sequences to open your body to new ways of moving, unwind tension patterns or numbness, and sensitise to pleasure moving through you.

3 - GROUP EMBODIMENT EXERCISES to explore your ability to 'get out of your own way' and have meaningful human connections.

4 - RELATIONAL PRACTICE to experience embodying fundamental polarities within yourself and to cultivate your ability to switch skilfully between modes of being in relationship with others.

5 - A SPONTANEOUS MOVEMENT set to become available to experience a life-affirming, deeply nourishing, meaningful dissolution of self-consciousness, and enter a peak flow state that reveals your inherent interconnection with life.

6 - An INTEGRATION PROCESS to become aware of and somatically integrate your peak experiences as something more easily accessible in everyday life.

In this 3hr super fun immersive experience, you’ll be exquisitely inspired to explore a profoundly meaningful connection with your body, others and life itself.

We do not discriminate – you are welcome, irrespective of your vaccination status (but if you’re feeling unwell, please stay home!).

As per Level 3 Guidelines the class size will capped – book in early to secure your spot!

In line with the COVID Safe Industry Plan for Dance and Performing Arts we are able to have contact and reduced social distancing for the purpose of practising. This session includes instances of close proximity and physical contact between participants – though all exercises are entirely optional.

If you have any special requests for physical distancing, or preference to not be touched, or you want to wear a mask throughout etc. they are welcome and will be respected.
