Choreographer, Amelia Watson, ask the question: what does ‘heartbreak’ mean for modern day queer communities?

A heartfelt and dynamic contemporary dance performance; Sentiments of Sentiments is a world where handwritten letters, sent in by LGBTQIA+ people from across the globe, are shared in an anthropological examination of love, pain and safety. 

Set in a ‘museum of queer heartbreak’ performers, Amelia Watson, Felicity Boyd and Alix Kuijpers, share personal and collective stories of queer heartbreak in a highly physical dance-theatre performance.

Previously performed in Bologna, Italy, on Kuarna Yerta (Adelaide) and soon to be in Meanjin (Brisbane), ’Sentiments of Sentiments’ is a vulnerable, high-regarded and physically enthralling space for queer healing.
