If you have no idea about SEO, how to get your website to appear in Google searches, then this is the perfect website for you. Learn the basic skills to optimise your own website.

This workshop will teach you the basic skills to implement your own SEO. We will discuss what SEO is, how it works and what the critical aspects of SEO are.

Learn how Google decides what your website is about and how high it should rank in Google searches, compared to your competitors' websites.  Then we will go into the specific aspects one by one and start working on the SEO search terms and texts for your own website.

Main Topics Covered:

- The basics of SEO: How does Google work?/Are other search engines important?

- Google no longer uses keywords.... Learn how to work with Search Subjects and how to use them on your website. Practice: Come up with effective search subjects for your website.

- Meta Texts: Learn how to write an effective title and description for each page, that will appear in Google searches of potential customers. Practice: Write the meta text for your own website pages.

What to Bring:  You can do the practical part of the workshop on your own laptop or on paper.
