Join Jess & Magnus for the Intermediate 2 Shibari classes, a journey into more advanced shibari techniques and concepts.

What:

These classes are designed for those who have completed the Intermediate 1 level at Peer Rope Melbourne or are coming from other schools at a similar level.

Proficiency at this stage includes mastery of a solid gote, adept comprehension of or ability to achieve optimal tensions and frictions, honed negotiation and communication skills, and a shared commitment to continual learning and growth.

Who:

Jess's (starlove.shibari) unique approach embodies an eclectic mix of diverse Japanese rope bondage styles, intricately crafted to convey their insights into the deeper meanings behind our practices. Teaching the 'why' we do what we do . She enjoys a 360° learning experiencing, workshopping ideas and the energistic side to rope.

Magnus (magnusrope) is a shibari teacher, performer and practitioner who showcases shibari as a pathway to deep connection and emotional intensity. His style is influenced by explorations of tantric polarity, ecstatic movement, and encompassing men's work support. He creates and leads with experiences that are grounding, erotic and heart-opening.

FAQs

• Tickets are for 2 people tying together.

• It is a requirement that you bring a rope buddy (there will be no options of pairing on the day).

• If you are without a rope model and wish to attend please message host who can facilitate a notice to their networks.

• Wear comfortable clothing to tie in. Minimum requirement is underwear.

• Ticket includes a wine or soft drink per person plus wedges to share. This will be served after class.

• Bring your own rope kits including a 1-2m.strap & biners.
