Sanctuary Tour 

Edgar's Mission is located in beautiful Lancefield in Victoria, Australia. Sanctuary tours are fun and informative, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We are not a petting zoo, but you'll have the chance to interact with the animal residents if they choose. 

Bookings are essential and tours fill up fast, so please book early to avoid disappointment!

• Behind-the-scenes access to the vet room and barn 

• Interactions with animals, including some of our special needs residents

Tickets are $45 for all guests, ages 10 and up. 

Biosecurity 

With H5 bird flu now detected in Victoria, strong biosecurity is especially important in helping protect the birds and other animals who call Edgar’s Mission home.

To help protect our rescued residents from disease and keep the sanctuary free from invasive weeds, please follow these important measures:

• If you have visited a factory or intensive farm within the past seven days, please do not visit the sanctuary.

• If you have had contact within the past seven days with farmed animals, particularly birds, who were unwell or suspected of carrying an infectious disease, please do not visit the sanctuary.

• Before visiting, please ensure all footwear, clothing and equipment is clean and completely free from mud, animal manure, feathers, seeds and other contaminants.

• Upon arrival at Edgar’s Mission, you must use the footbath provided at the entrance, ensuring the soles of your footwear are thoroughly treated before entering the sanctuary
