About Carlos y Charlos:

Carlos y Charlos are a dynamic trio sharing the vibrant sounds of traditional Norteño music with audiences across Southern California and beyond. Born from a shared passion for the genre's legends, multi-instrumentalists Juan Carlos Reynoso (bajo sexto) and Charles De Castro (diatonic accordion) first came together to honor artists ranging from Los Alegres de Terán and Carlos y José to Texas accordion pioneers Santiago Jimenez Sr. and Narciso Martinez.

Their authentic mix of traditional polkas, waltzes and classic Norteño repertoire quickly became the heart of every celebration, turning casual gatherings into memorable musical experiences. Joined by longtime friend and musical partner Patrick Morrison on bass, the trio soon became a sought-after presence at backyard celebrations, weddings, quinceañeras and cultural events throughout the region.

Carlos y Charlos offer more than a performance. They share a musical tradition, inviting audiences into the rich world of Norteño music in a way that resonates with listeners from all backgrounds.
