The September Ascending Women event will focus on The Hidden Dangers of Mental Health.

This panel will include:

Stephanie Shell, MA, LPCC-S, is the Co-Owner of ThrivePointe Counseling and a Licensed Counselor with extensive clinical training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Trauma. With a passion for helping individuals and couples, Stephanie specializes in guiding people to experience secure connections in their relationships, overcome challenges, and develop a confident sense of self. Driven by a "better together" philosophy, she believes that knowing someone has your back unleashes our greatest potential as people.

Stephanie Young Quehl Founder Jack Quehl Foundation

Stephanie Young Quehl was born and raised in Cincinnati. She's been married to her husband, Tom Quehl, for 28 years. She and Tom have four boys: Eric, Jack, Tyler and Adam. They raised their family in Loveland, and Stephanie taught at St. Columban School for 18 years before retiring to start the Jack Quehl Foundation. Stephanie has been speaking for the last three years on behalf of the foundation to schools, corporations and community events. Education is her passion and through the foundation, they are hopeful that lives will be saved.

Elisia Triggs Founder Mind Your Mental

After the heartbreaking loss of her son to suicide, Elisia Triggs started a nonprofit called Mind Your Mental. Through engaging presentations, she shares her personal story and the lessons she's learned along the way. Elisia is all about advocating for survivors, building community, and telling stories that create welcoming, trauma-informed environments for healing and change. With experience in legal work, nonprofit growth, and outreach, Elisia understands how mental health, survivorship, and accountability connect. She aims to amplify the voices of those who are grieving, particularly by utilizing storytelling, providing resources, and facilitating support groups. Elisia creates inclusive surveys to gather important feedback. She leads projects that focus on empathy and self-determination for survivors. Elisia aims to turn personal experiences into ways to build resilience. She brings both insights and personal experience to the table, encouraging conversations that respect complexity, challenge stigma, and rethink how we support each other.
