    Event description

Join us for Brunch on the Farm!

This is our signature fundraiser event of the year to support our educational programming for youth and adults as well as our pay-what-you-can Farm Market. We are offering tickets on a sliding scale basis so that you can select the level that best works for you to support and allow us to make the event accessible to more people.

Chef Demi Unique is a traveling artist and chef, exploring food as an instrument of connection and the places that it holds in the lives of many. Her culinary pursuits, including her plant-focused pop-up series, Masticate, are inspired by her ancestors and eagerness to tell stories. She’s had the privilege of growing up in the kitchen, creating memories with elders that cooked with so much love. From them food became her love language and favorite medium of expression. Having graduated from both the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and the Institute of Culinary Education, she lives where the worlds of art, style and food meet.

This menu is vegan and nut free.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that we can make other substitutions to the menu.

    Cocktails curated by Charismatic Creations

Chrissy Sheffey of Charismatic Creations is a Prince George's County Native, philanthropist, and renowned cocktail experience curator. With over 10 years of hospitality experience, she uses her skillset to curate innovative cocktails and exceptional event experiences fit for dynamic crowds and innovative brands. In 2017, she started a beverage consulting agency with a desire to connect her love for spirits and farm culture through curated cocktails and mixers, enterprising bar programs focused on sustainability, and culturally relevant activations! The New York Times featured her in a "Cocktail Mixer Renniassace" article for her efforts in creating cocktails and mixers using the freshest ingredients grown by local gardens and farms.
Furthering her love for community and activism, she founded Fairhill Dreams, Inc, a non-profit organization that enriches her community through educational programs and charity events. Her inaugural event, The Spirited Sole Garden, is a pop-up cocktail experience and fundraiser that supports local agrarians and raises money to purchase and donate sneakers to local organizations.
