Climate Bites are informal, welcoming gatherings that bring people together from across Edinburgh and the ECCAN network. Whether you’re part of a group or just getting started, it’s a space to meet others and exchange ideas. It's free to attend and all are welcome.

This month, we’re hosted by Gorgie Community farm – a Community Farm for everyone.

"Since first opening in the early 1980s, the farm has been a vision brought to life by local people seeking to create a green space for community benefit. Many know and love the site as a central and unique asset to Gorgie Dalry and the wider city, having provided work experience, training, and nature-based learning for generations in the heart of Edinburgh.

Following the closure of the city farm in 2023, a new charity was formed to ensure the site remains an accessible community resource – a Community Farm for everyone. We won’t recreate exactly what came before but rather build on the legacy and affection of all who have visited or worked within the farm with a new model of partnerships and collaboration that will sustain this community-led space for many years to come."

Directions to meeting point:

Come in the open gate, follow up the drive and turn right into raised herb garden with a wooden pergola, we will be waiting for you there.
