September Small Group Rebirthing Breathwork and Vocal Sound Healing - Kallista

Unlock your bodyā€™s capacity to soothe, relax and heal itself through a gentle group rebirthing breathwork (Yin Breathwork) and vocal sound healing session. During the session, you will be guided into a conscious connected breathing rhythm that will allow your body to access subtle yet powerful physical, emotional and soul level releases.Ā 

Yin Breathwork is conducted with a focus on gentleness and surrender rather than pushing or forcing. The session includes an introduction to the breathing rhythm and safety considerations, and a gentle breathwork session accompanied by a vocal sound healing followed by a short integration.

Throughout the session you will be supported by Jo, an experienced Intuitive Guide, Rebirthing Breathwork Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner and Vocal Channel who holds a non-judgmental and compassionate space for relaxation and transformation.Ā Jo is currently undergoing a year-longĀ training to increase her capacity toĀ support people with mental health challenges and trauma.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, cushion, water bottle and anything else that will keep you warm and comfortable. Wear warm, comfortable clothing (layers recommended). You will be sitting/lying on the floor to breathe.

Doors will openĀ 15 mins before the session begins, please arrive early so you can set up in time to commence the session at 3pm. We'll have a short time after the session to connect, soĀ if you'd like hang around for a chat with me or the group please do so!

Contraindications:
We hold participantsā€™ safety in high regard. If any of the following apply to you, it may not be safe for you to participate in a group breathwork session: vertigo, recent brain injury or surgery, heart conditions or recent heart surgery, epilepsy, schizophrenia, bipolar, CPTSD. If you have any of these conditions please contact Jo before booking a group session so we can make any necessary adjustments to ensure your safety and the safety of the group. Please touch base before booking if you are in your 1st or 3rd trimester of pregnancy.

Before the session
To ensure you are in the best possible place to get the most out of your session, and for your personal safety, The Yin Breath recommends paying attention to the following:Ā 

Please eat lightly on the day of your session, and avoid having a large meal within two hours of the session (this is for your comfort and also to prevent you falling asleep during the session).

Avoid alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours prior to the session. Please avoid or reduce caffeine intake on the day of the session.
