Pasta, Gnocchi 101 & Wine Pairings with The Adventurous Sip

Welcome to our pasta-making class! We will explore the art and soul of pasta—from understanding the simple ingredients that create perfect dough to mastering shapes, sauces, and textures. You’ll learn hands-on techniques to roll, cut, and cook pasta like an Italian Nonna, and discover how fresh pasta can elevate any meal with comfort, creativity, and flavor.

Today we’re going to learn how to make 5 different pastas:

Orcchiette

Gnocchi

Fogile d’ulivo

Fussilli

Casarecce

All of these pastas require no pasta roller unique equipment. Just simple tools in every household and your hands. I will demonstrate how to make each pasta we will have a small serving along with our wine and move onto the next shape.
