“The Australian Funding Landscape” is a series of online workshops delivered by the Research Development Program with the aim of showcasing the diversity of opportunities available to UTS researchers in attracting external research funding.

The series began with an overview session, showcasing the breadth of the research funding landscape in Australia. Six follow-on sessions will follow on from this, each providing detailed insights into each funding opportunity type.

This is the registration page for the follow-on session 'Serious Business – Creating Research Investment Opportunities for Industry' convened by Arno Schaaf (UTS Research Office).

In this session - delivered as a Zoom webinar - we will cover some of the basics of business engagement, why it is different from applying for a grant, what government help is available and the support we can provide for you from the research office. We will also present two case studies of successful business engagement.
