Serve at a Drive-Thru Food Market for Families in Need (We Don't Waste)

This is a Project Helping Volunteer Experience in partnership with We Don't Waste
What We Will Do:
Project Helping Volunteers will help We Don't Waste set up the drive-thru market and distribute healthy groceries to hundreds of families from the Westwood, Mar Lee, and Ruby Hills neighborhoods.

A mask
Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing (as this is an outdoor event)
Water
Close-toed shoes
Where to Park:
Location: We Don't Waste Lalo Delgado Campus Food Market
Park either in the north half of the school parking lot or on the surrounding side streets.
Please do not park on South Irving, as this is where the cards will line up to attend the market.
Where to Meet:
When you enter the parking lot, you will see several large tricks with "We Don't Waste" on the side in the south half of the parking lot. We will meet at the trucks.
Check in with your Project Helping Kynd Leader when you arrive. They will be wearing a bright lime green shirt, and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast!

We Don't Waste works to reduce hunger and food waste in the Denver area by recovering quality, unused food from the food industry and delivering it to nonprofit partners, such as food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, schools and daycare programs, and more.
