Rainbow Beach Tennis Victoria opens the 2026/27 outdoor season, and we're starting it with you.

Never played beach tennis? Neither have most people coming.

At 2:20 we show you how it works. After that, sand under your feet and a racquet in your hand.

Come on your own or bring a friend.

Equipment provided.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Find us on the sand at West Beach from 2pm. Look for the nets, music will be going.

What beach tennis is, how to hit, how it works.

2:35 — Play
Social rounds on the sand. Everyone rotates through.

WHAT IS BEACH TENNIS

Doubles, played on sand, over a net, with a solid racquet and a soft ball. The ball never bounces. It's a different sport to tennis, and you don't need to have played either.

WHAT TO BRING

Water, a hat and sunscreen. Everything else is provided.

GOOD TO KNOW

The courts are on soft sand, which takes more effort than a hard court. There's shade and somewhere to sit whenever you want a breather.

We'll be taking photos on the day. Let us know if you'd rather stay out of them.
