Social Enterprise is not new in Northern Australia. It has always been here, led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. As a result, it is more than just a business model. It’s a way of life, it’s our community, it’s in our hearts.

This year, we are also building in post-event advocacy, drawing from the Summit to contribute to the National Strategy for Social Enterprise, the Social Enterprise World Forum scheduled for Brisbane in 2022, and aspiring to create our own roundtable for the region to further these conversations.

This represents the common connection we all share, and the responses that we all have when exposed to sound - music and sound is a deep and rich aspect of both Indigenous and Western cultures and is a language we share in common.
