An interactive information session for parents of children entering Kindergarten in 2025.
Wednesday 10th April, 6.30-8.00pm, in person at Sydney Child Development Specialists
Did you know that 1 in 3 children are not learning to read proficiently?
Hear from Speech Pathologists Liz Douglas and Marina Robinson, and Developmental Paediatrician, Dr Jane Son, on how you can prepare your child for literacy success.
Topics will include;
- how to expand your child’s vocabulary,
- Increasing your child’s sentence length and complexity and how this relates learning to read.
- Should I be teaching my child the names of the letters?
- What to do if you are concerned.
- Time for questions will be allocated with Liz, Marina and Dr Jane.
$25 per ticket, Bookings essential, light refreshments will be served.
